Meet Dr. Monica
Board Certified Pediatric Dentist
Dr. Monica was raised in Sterling Heights, Michigan, and went on to Washington, D.C. to pursue her career in dentistry at Howard University. While practicing as a general dentist, Dr. Monica’s desire to work with children grew immensely and led her to pursue a future as a pediatric dentist. She received her Certificate in Pediatric Dentistry at the University of Maryland School of Dentistry.
Her treatment philosophy revolves around patient education and building trust with both her young patients and their families. Dr. Monica believes that educating children and parents about proper oral hygiene, the root causes of dental diseases, and the importance of prevention is crucial to lifelong oral health. By nurturing these relationships, she helps children feel comfortable and confident in their dental care, ensuring that they are empowered to maintain healthy habits throughout their lives.
Dr. Monica is committed to providing the highest standards of pediatric dental care, utilizing the latest technologies and techniques. She understands that every child is unique, and there is no “one-size-fits-all” approach to her practice. Patient comfort, safety, and creating positive experiences are always her top priorities.

Outside of the office, Dr. Monica enjoys spending time outdoors—whether it’s hiking, fishing, or cooking. She cherishes time spent with her husband and their pomeranians, making the most of the moments spent with loved ones.
